Amy Cooper

Ceramicist

Amy's work is inspired by the world under the sea, the world under the microscope and the magic of landscapes at twilight. Her designs address the fragility and transience of life and the natural world, utilising the transformative properties of light with porcelain. She explores the monchromatic spectrum that is created through the use of textiles, variation in thickness and diffusion. She is intrigued by the endless variations in nature and the idea of an ongoing evolutionary process of adaptation.
