My name is Phil Cooling and I am a photographer based in Castlemorton, near Malvern, Worcestershire. I have been interested in Art from an early age and initially painted in oils & acrylics. My day job was an aerospace designer, so when digital photography came along I fully embraced the artistic & technical fusion it provided. I love creating "other worldly" montages, from as many as 30 different photographs, that give a glimpse into worlds that don't exist. I also enjoy landscape & wildlife photography that is generally taken within one mile of my home. This proximity allows me drop everything and capture the scene whenever the weather conditions and lighting are at their best. I was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society (F.R.P.S.) in 2014 which inspired me to share my work with a wider audience.
